Instagram and Facebook - Why is it so popular? In Covid-19 times, we've turned to social media to interact socially with friends and family.  You may have questions about the technical aspects as well as the societal impacts. Two experts in social media will join us to answer these questions and give us an overview. They are:

Ava Gaughen, a 24 year old graduate from UCLA. She maintains Instagram accounts for her hobbies of art and macramé. Her Instagram for art at one point reached over 4,000 followers and has posts that have been viewed and liked over 15,000 times. Lindsey Lee is a 27 year old graduate from Cornell University currently working for a marketing agency on their search and social team. She previously helped run the Instagram accounts for an events company, gaining firsthand experience starting new accounts and managing posts on a daily basis. Lindsey's Instagram focused on food @lepoissonmange and she previously managed profile focused on beauty and makeup @blushcon.
