Monthly Programs These sessions take place during regular Chapter Meetings (2nd Tuesday of the month). They are included with your membership and range from technical demonstrations to historical presentations.
- Format: Hybrid (In-person at the Cathy Hoppe Friendship Center & Zoom).
- Cost: Free. Guests can attend two meetings for free.
- Best For: Casual learning, social interaction, and quick tips.
- Typical Topics: Decorative background stitches, mastering metallics, or technical guides.

Specialized Workshops Workshops are intensive, multi-hour or multi-day sessions focused on a specific project or advanced technique.
- Instructors: Often feature nationally and internationally recognized guest instructors.
- Registration: Requires a separate registration fee.
- Best For: Learning new skills, mastering existing skills and finishing specific projects.

2026 Chapter Projects Every year we select special initiatives to inspire our community. This year we’ve chosen some creative ones.
- Stitching in Your Nest: We are shining a spotlight on our personal stitching spaces
- The UFO Challenge (PhD Program) We’re going to finish those “UnFinished Objects” and Projects Half Done and earn a charm.
- The SDANG Charm Program Our favorite tradition continues! Earn collectible physical charms for completing projects, attending workshops, or joining our hybrid social stitching sessions.
- Adapt a Stitch: Sponsor a stitch for the RSN Stitch Bank of the Royal School of Needlework in the United Kingdom.
